What is a group?

What is a group?

A group is a number of users from the same legal entity. Each user in the group has access to WebWordSystem and can work independently of other users in the same Private area.

A group may consist of one or several users. The number of users in a group can be continuously expanded. There are no restrictions.

How can I be attached to a specific group?

If you are an employee of a company that has purchased licences for several users of WebWordSystem, or if you are working as an external linguist for the company for a short period of time, the Group Administrator can make you a member of the group in question.

You can only become a member of the group if there are free licences in the group in question

Can a freelance translator be attached to a group?

In connection with a given task, the Group Administrator may register the freelance translator as a user in the group. Once the task has been completed, the Group Administrator may block the freelance translator's access to the group. In this way, external translators can be attached to and removed from WebWordSystem in the individual company.

The Group Administrator is solely responsible for this attachment, as the freelancer is given access to the group's Private Area and purchase account.

Who is the Group Administrator, and what does he do?

Who is the group administrator, and which tasks does the person have?

All users who purchase a licence must designate a minimum of one Group Administrator who will create all users in the group, distribute user names and passwords among the users and grant them the rights that the company wishes to grant them.

The Group Administrator is also responsible for transferring terms and segments to Public area.

How many users can be attached to a group?

It is only possible to create the number of users as described in the relevant licence.

The number of users can be expanded at any time to a larger number of users by paying the difference between the existing licence and the future licence that corresponds to the required number of users.

There is no upper limit to the number of users in a multi-user licence.

All users must always belong to the same legal entity. If not, the licence must be expanded to another solution. Click here to see the various solutions.
